The ‘value’ of a cancer treatment and the disconnect between the interests of patients and those of health services and drug developers

The freaking dilemma of the whole thing.

This is why I feel like a demon being in this business.

But…I’m here to change it.

We need doctors, we need certain drugs to help with ill patients, but we definitely don’t need a “pill for every ill”. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
